1.0 PURPOSE<br />

To outline the clubhouse/tower flag requirements for each Lifeguard Patrol when “On Duty”<br />

2.0 SCOPE<br />

These procedures apply to all volunteer and paid lifeguard services.<br />

4.0 PROCEDURES<br />

4.1 During patrol hours the following flags shall be flown from either the Clubhouse or fixed<br />

Patrol Tower (whichever is closest to the water), they shall be flown in the following<br />

priority (by space available):<br />

• Red and Yellow SLSNZ “Clubhouse Flag”<br />

• New Zealand Flag<br />

• BP Surf Rescue Flag<br />
