<strong>the</strong> Annals of Asurbanipal (cyl. R 1) col. II. 39 kaspu hurasu ni-<br />

sik-ti abni sa-gu ikalli-Su ma-la ba-su-u 'silver, gold, precious<br />

stones, <strong>the</strong> things of his palace as many as <strong>the</strong>re were' (S. A. Smith,<br />

Keilsch. Asurb. I p. 92).<br />

p. 293 line 10 from below. A line has here dropped out. After <strong>the</strong><br />

word 'plural' a new sentence should begin. Read:— Sikriti 'palace<br />

women'; in <strong>the</strong> text st<strong>and</strong>s <strong>the</strong> ideogr. RAK. UN with plur. sign mean-<br />

ing "female people" etc.<br />
