BAR ABUTMENT
AFTER IMPRESSION TAKING IN
THE CONELOG ® IMPLANT
INSERTING THE CONELOG ® BAR ABUTMENTS
IN THE WORKING CAST
The dental technician selects the appropriate CONELOG ® bar abutments
according to the CONELOG ® implant diameter used (note color-coding) and
the specific gingival heights and inserts them into the CONELOG ® lab analogs.
The CONELOG ® bar abutments are inserted into the driver for bar abutments.
A screw integrated in the instrument secures the abutment. The
screw is tightened by hand.
The driver is used to tighten the CONELOG ® bar abutments by hand. The
bar abutment plateau should be approx. 0.5 mm supragingival.
IMPORTANT NOTE
The bar abutments must not be modified!
The bar is fabricated on the cast. A previously prepared silicone index is
used to virtually represent the space available in the planning and fabrication
of the bar construction.
