CAST FABRICATION
The impression is cast with appropriate cast plaster and the impression
posts may not loosen. After curing, the impression is removed and the impression
posts loosened from the lab analogs.
TIP: We recommend that you fabricate the cast with a gingival mask. The
surrounding gingiva is represented elastically and true to the situation
especially for subgingival crown margins and restorations in esthetic areas.
An optimal design of the crown contour is easier to achieve.
TIP: After removing the impression, the bite registration caps can be installed
on the impression posts in the plaster cast for mounting. After that,
the bite registration can be placed on the caps and the casts mounted in the
articulator.
