The high degree of engineering capability of technicians based at Legacy Support Houston is replicated
across the Legacy Support business and is vital to its success.
BBA Aviation’s Legacy Support companies serve over 1,000 customers, including aircraft owner-operators,
repair and overhaul shops and distributors, airframe manufacturers and military forces around the world.
Customers come to Legacy Support’s business units, including Ontic, for pedigree parts that are
manufactured to the original specifcation under licence from the original equipment manufacturer and
are a quality product they can trust.
Legacy Support’s fexible facilities and technical resources, along with the skill of employees and advanced
stock forecasting capability, enable it to support a hugely diverse range of legacy components and end
item assemblies.
The venerable Hawker 700 and Hawker 800 business jets are typical examples of the classic, out-ofproduction
aircraft in active service around the world thanks to the ready availability of legacy parts.
Legacy Support Houston’s structures facility focuses on all series of the Hawker aircraft up to the 1000
series, repairing or overhauling hundreds of structural parts – from wing leading edges to fight control
actuators – every year.
