<strong>IRD</strong>-<strong>2900</strong> <strong>Series</strong><br />

<strong>Professional</strong> <strong>Integrated</strong> <strong>Receiver</strong> Decoders<br />

The available options are:<br />

• Auto. Call 1st Active – The <strong>IRD</strong>-<strong>2900</strong> locks-onto the first active service<br />

detected in the transport-stream. This mode is recommended for DSNG and<br />

other applications that frequently change the decoded program.<br />

NOTE<br />

When Auto call first active mode is selected, the <strong>IRD</strong>-<strong>2900</strong> might switch to the<br />

first detected program when the TS is interrupted for any reason.<br />

• Wait for User Select – The <strong>IRD</strong>-<strong>2900</strong> searches for a specific (user-defined)<br />

service to lock-on to. the <strong>IRD</strong>-<strong>2900</strong> is tuned to decode the selected program,<br />

even if it does not exist in the TS. This mode is recommended for broadcast<br />

applications where the decoded program is fixed, and seldom changes.<br />

SERVICE CAS OPEN<br />

This parameter defines which ES will be decrypted by the CAM. It is possible to<br />

either instruct the <strong>IRD</strong>-<strong>2900</strong> to decrypt all the received ES, or allow it to decrypt<br />

only the ones that are currently being decoded.<br />
