Operation and Management<br />

The Dry Contact menu screen allows configuring the GPI 1 or GPI 2. The GPI<br />

(General Purpose Interface) is a dry contact relay, used by the <strong>IRD</strong>-<strong>2900</strong> for<br />

displaying warnings that appear in the device.<br />

To access the Dry Contact through the front panel, go to:<br />

Root����Configuration����Unit����Dry Contact.<br />

The following figure illustrates the Dry Contact menu:<br />
