The 'Refresh' button is located at the bottom of each screen and available at all<br />

times. Clicking this button refreshes the web-page. This is useful for updating<br />

changes that were configured in the front-panel.<br />

3.2.2. Initializing the Web-Based<br />

Management<br />

Setting the management connection through the front panel involves the<br />

following procedures:<br />

• Set the IP Address<br />

• Set the Subnet Mask<br />

• Set the Default Gateway<br />

NOTE<br />

In order to avoid any errors and faults, Scopus recommends all Ethernet<br />

configurations to be preformed through the front-panel or the RS323 only<br />

A. To set the IP Address:<br />

1. Access the IP Address edit screen. To access the screen, from the Root<br />

menu select Configuration����Unit����Ethernet Management port����IP<br />

Address.<br />

2. Enter a valid IP Address.<br />

3. Verify that the entered IP address is not allocated to any other device.<br />

B. To set the Subnet Mask:<br />

1. Access the Subnet Mask edit screen. To access the screen, from the Root<br />

menu select Configuration����Unit����Ethernet Management port����Subnet<br />

Mask.<br />

2. Enter a valid subnet mask.<br />

C. To set the Default Gateway:<br />

1. Access the Default Gateway edit screen. To access the screen, from the Root<br />

menu select Configuration����Unit����Ethernet Management port����Default<br />

Gateway<br />

2. Enter a valid Default Gateway.<br />
