IP-Front End Software Upgrade Procedure<br />

10. In the Telnet prompt window, type ‘telnet 1023’ (use the<br />

same IP Address as in step 9).<br />

11. Type 'exit' and then Enter.<br />

12. Type ' burn “vxw” ' and then Enter.<br />

13. Type ' “burn “ird” ' and then Enter.<br />

14. Power off the <strong>IRD</strong>-<strong>2900</strong>.<br />

15. After a few seconds, power on the <strong>IRD</strong>-<strong>2900</strong>.<br />

16. On the <strong>IRD</strong>-<strong>2900</strong> front panel, go to Configuration���� Stream����Source and<br />

select FRONT END (IP)<br />

17. Verify the correct upgrading of the new SW version by going in the <strong>IRD</strong>-<br />

NOTE<br />

<strong>2900</strong> front panel to Status����<strong>Receiver</strong>����General and checking the SW Version<br />

dd/mm/yy mj.mn parameter value<br />

If power failure occurs during upgrade, repeat the upgrade from step 1<br />
