retaining the same “turned position to the<br />
wry neck side”. The results are only positive.<br />
Congenital hips dislocation – in 1982<br />
we discovered the possibility to stabilize<br />
the dislocated (after reduction) femoral<br />
head in acetabulum. According to Prof. R.<br />
Graf from Stolzalpe (by Murau in Austria) –<br />
in the therapy of dislocated hip we need<br />
3 Rs – 1/Reposition (Germ.) – Redaction,<br />
2/Retention (Germ.) – keeping of the head<br />
in acetabulum and 3/ Reifung (Germ.) –<br />
the <strong>pro</strong>per development of hip. It is possible<br />
to achieve the second R in a simple way<br />
presented in the lecture.<br />
Blount disease (crus varum) – 30 years<br />
ago, I was researching the <strong>pro</strong>blem of<br />
shank varus deformity in connection of<br />
the Heuter – Volkmann low (other words –<br />
Wolff – Delpeche low). Overstressing and<br />
overloading cause varus deformity. I put<br />
the following question – if the Heuter<br />
Volkmann low will work in “the reverse<br />
direction” – if so will the varus disappear<br />
or not. The answer was positive – the child<br />
