In the Military Hospital the heads of<br />
the Orthopaedic Department were successively:<br />
Dr Henryk Jabłoński (1964 –<br />
dead), next Dr Jan Stachurski, Dr Antoni<br />
Widawski, Dr Mieczysław Bryk and presently<br />
Dr Zbigniew Kędzierski and Dr Adam<br />
Bartoszczyk (both last chiefs – are active<br />
soldiers). Dr Bartoszczyk became the chief<br />
of the Sub-Department of Orthopaedics in<br />
April <strong>2012</strong>.<br />
The Rehabilitation Ward of the Military<br />
Hospital is very important for post operative<br />
treatment of many patients. The<br />
chief of this Department is Dr. Zbigniew<br />

This Department plays a very important<br />
role for treatment of patients with<br />
“movement apparatus <strong>pro</strong>blems” from<br />
whole city of Lublin.<br />
The Military Orthopaedic Department<br />
cooperates with the University of Vincent<br />
Pol (here Prof. T. Karski is a lecturer since<br />
2009) and also as training place and research<br />
facility for students of physiotherapy of this<br />
University (for MA dissertations).<br />
