seriously considered and decided, in the Grand Lodge;<br />

if any B<strong>ro</strong>ther thinks himself aggrieved by the decision,<br />

may appeal to the Annual Grand Lodge next ensuing,<br />

leave his appeal in writing with the Grand Master,<br />

Deputy, or Grand Wardens.—(See Grand Feast, Article<br />

Hither, also, all the off<st<strong>ro</strong>ng>ice</st<strong>ro</strong>ng>rs of particular Lodges shall<br />

bring a list of such members as have been made, or even<br />

admitted by them since the last Grand Lodge.—( Old Reg­<br />

ulation.)<br />

ART. 12. They shall also appoint a Treasurer, a B<strong>ro</strong>ther<br />

of good worldly substance, who shall be a member of the<br />

Grand Lodge by virtue of his off<st<strong>ro</strong>ng>ice</st<strong>ro</strong>ng>, and shall be always<br />

present, and have a power to move to the Grand Lodge any<br />

thing that concerns his off<st<strong>ro</strong>ng>ice</st<strong>ro</strong>ng>.—(JV. R., Art. 13.)<br />

ART. 13. The Grand Master, or Deputy, have authority<br />

always, to command the Treasurer and Secretary to attend<br />

him, with their clerks and books, in order to see how matters<br />

go on ; and to know what is expedient to be done upon any<br />

ART. 14. Every Annual Grand Lodge has an inherent<br />

power and authority to make new Regulations, to alter these<br />

for the real benefit of this ancient fraternity; p<strong>ro</strong>vided<br />

always that the old landmarks be carefully preserved, and<br />

that such new Regulations and alterations be p<strong>ro</strong>posed and<br />

agreed to, at the third Quarterly Communication preceding<br />

the Annual Grand Feast; and that they be offered to the<br />

perusal of all the Brethren before dinner, in writing, even<br />

of the youngest Entered Apprent<st<strong>ro</strong>ng>ice</st<strong>ro</strong>ng> ; the app<strong>ro</strong>bation and<br />

consent of the majority of all the Brethren present, being<br />

absolutely necessary to make the same binding and oblig­<br />

atory ; which must therefore after dinner, and after the new<br />

Grand Master is installed, be solemnly desired: as it was<br />

desired and obtained for the old Regulations, when p<strong>ro</strong>posed
