That no Lodge shall be removed without the Mnstcr's<br />

knowledge; that no motion be made for removing in the<br />

Master's absence; and ti at if the motion be seconded or<br />

thirded, the Master shall order summons to every individual<br />

member, specifying the business, and appointing a day for<br />

hearing and determining the affair, at least ten days before:<br />

and that the determination shall le made by the majoriiy,<br />

p<strong>ro</strong>vided the Master be one of that majority; but if he be<br />

of the minority against removing, the Lodge shall not be<br />

removed unless the majority consists of full two-thirds of the<br />

members present.<br />

But if the Master shall refuse to direct such summons,<br />

either of the Wardens may do it: And if the Master neg­<br />

lects to attend on the day fixed, the Wardens may preside in<br />

determining the aff.iir in the manner prescribed; but they<br />

shall not, in the Master's absence, enter upon any other<br />

cause but what is particularly mentioned in the summons:<br />

and if the Lodge is thus regularly ordered to be removed,<br />

the Master or Wardens shall send not<st<strong>ro</strong>ng>ice</st<strong>ro</strong>ng> thereof to the Sec­<br />

retary of the Grand Lodge for publishing the same at the<br />

next Quarterly Communication.—(New Reg. Art. 9.)<br />

AaT. 3. Carnarvan, Grand Master, Nov. 29, 1754, it<br />

was ordained, That no Lodge shali for the future be deemed<br />

regularly removed until the removal thereof shall be app<strong>ro</strong>ved<br />

and allowed by the Grand Master, or his Deputy for the<br />

time being.<br />
