speak the sentiments of their Brethren at the said Grand<br />

Upon a sudden emergency, the Grand Lodge has allowed<br />

a private B<strong>ro</strong>ther to be present, and with leave asked and<br />

given, to signify his mind, if it was about what concerned<br />

Masonry.—(New Reg. Art. 10.)<br />

ABT. 4. All particular Lodges are to observe the same<br />

usages as much as possible ; in order to which, and also for<br />

cultivating a good understanding among Free Masons, some<br />

members of every Lodge shall be deputed to visit the other<br />

Lodges, as often as shall be thought convenient.—( Old Reg.<br />

Art. 11.<br />

The same usages, for substance, are actually observed in<br />

every Lodge ; which is much owing to visiting B<strong>ro</strong>thers, who<br />

compare the usages.—(New Reg. Art. 11.)<br />

ART. 5. On Feb. 24, 1734-5, if any Lodge, within the<br />

blotted out of the Grand Lodge Book and engraved list And<br />

to be again inserted and owned as a regular<br />

Lodge, it must lose its former place and rank of precedency,<br />

No set or number of Brethren shall withdraw<br />

become too nume<strong>ro</strong>us; nor even then, without a Dispensa­<br />

tion f<strong>ro</strong>m the Grand Master or Deputy; and when thus se­<br />

to be regularly constituted in good time.<br />
