and my only regret is, that I have not been enabled to serve you more effectually. I love the Order of Free Masonry, and I am wedded to the cause. The more I learn of her pure and correct principles, the more I am attached to her; and I can assure you, no matter when the summons of the Grand Warden shall call for mo, be it soon, or even in old age, it will find me with the harness on, laboring in behalf of our principles. I cannot close this communication without returning you, one nnd all, nnd through you, to the various members of your respective Lodges, my heartfelt thanks and acknowledgments, for the many acts of courtesy, kindness, and attention you have been pleased to show me during the year. Rest assured, they were duly appreciated, and will be treasured up in my heart, and carried with mo to my grave, with a grateful recollection. And whenever, hereafter, I shall review life's heckered scenes, among tho most cherished recollection, will be tho remembrance of having been your Grand Master, and presiding over your deliberations.
