RESUMEN. Los blogs <strong>se</strong> <strong>ha</strong>n convertido en u<strong>no</strong> de los grandes fenó<strong>me</strong><strong>no</strong>s de internet y <strong>ha</strong>n<br />
supuesto una revolución a <strong>la</strong> hora de publicar contenidos. Desde <strong>ha</strong>ce u<strong>no</strong>s años <strong>el</strong> nú<strong>me</strong>ro<br />
de blogs educativos crece progresiva<strong>me</strong>nte, ayudando a crear una importante comunidad<br />
educativa, que promueve <strong>la</strong> comunicación entre profesores y alum<strong>no</strong>s. Este artículo <strong>ha</strong>b<strong>la</strong> de<br />
<strong>la</strong> aplicación de los blogs en <strong>la</strong> en<strong>se</strong>ñanza-aprendizaje de ELE, enmarcándolos dentro de <strong>la</strong><br />
Web educativa 2.0, ya que todas <strong>la</strong>s herramientas (blogs, wikis, podcasts, etc.) que podemos<br />
encontrar en <strong>el</strong><strong>la</strong> <strong>se</strong> comple<strong>me</strong>ntan y es ahí donde radica su importancia.<br />

ABSTRACT. Blogs <strong>ha</strong>ve beco<strong>me</strong> one of the great phe<strong>no</strong><strong>me</strong>na in the Internet and <strong>ha</strong>ve <strong>me</strong>ant<br />
a revolution at the ti<strong>me</strong> of publishing contents. In the <strong>la</strong>st years the number of educational<br />
blogs is steadily growing, h<strong>el</strong>ping to build an important educational community t<strong>ha</strong>t encourages<br />
communication between teachers and students. This paper deals with the u<strong>se</strong> of blogs in ELE<br />
(Spanish as a Foreign Language) education-learning, framing them within the Educative Web<br />
2.0 since it is in the combination of the<strong>se</strong> tools (blogs, wikis, podcasts, etc.) where its<br />
importance takes root.<br />
Introducción<br />
Nacidos a finales de los <strong>no</strong>venta, los blogs <strong>se</strong> <strong>ha</strong>n convertido en u<strong>no</strong> de los grandes<br />
fenó<strong>me</strong><strong>no</strong>s de Internet y <strong>ha</strong>n supuesto una revolución a <strong>la</strong> hora de publicar contenidos que<br />
está afectando a diferentes <strong>se</strong>ctores de <strong>la</strong> sociedad: periodismo, tec<strong>no</strong>logía, política,<br />
educación, etc.<br />
Son muc<strong>ha</strong>s <strong>la</strong>s definiciones que podemos encontrar sobre <strong>el</strong> térmi<strong>no</strong> blog. También<br />
co<strong>no</strong>cido como weblog o bitácora, un blog es un sitio web donde <strong>se</strong> recopi<strong>la</strong>n<br />
cro<strong>no</strong>lógica<strong>me</strong>nte <strong>me</strong>nsajes o artículos en los cuales los lectores <strong>puede</strong>n escribir co<strong>me</strong>ntarios<br />
y <strong>el</strong> autor darles respuesta, potenciando <strong>la</strong> interactividad y <strong>el</strong> diálogo entre los usuarios. Otras<br />
de <strong>la</strong>s características de esta herramienta son: su facilidad de publicación, que son gratuitos,<br />
su acceso desde cualquier lugar conectado a Internet, <strong>la</strong> posibilidad de tener en<strong>la</strong>ces a otros<br />
sitios web y que son integradores de <strong>la</strong>s demás herramientas 2.0. A todo <strong>el</strong>lo <strong>se</strong> <strong>ha</strong>rá<br />
referencia más ade<strong>la</strong>nte.<br />
Los blogs empezaron a captar <strong>la</strong> atención pública a raíz de acontecimientos históricos y<br />
políticos como los ataques d<strong>el</strong> 11 de <strong>se</strong>ptiembre de 2001 y <strong>la</strong> posterior invasión de Afganistán<br />
