Para cada asociaciónHv„ r !ca, se especifica las unidades taxonómicas que la conforman, su distribución dentrode la asociación expresada en porcentajes y la superficie total aproximada que cubren. I-gualmente, se especifica las fases fisiográficas que la constituyen y se establece además suimportancia o valor para propósitos agrícolas, pecuarios o forestales.Por razones prácticas y con el propósito de suministrar una terminólogFa que sea más fácilmente comprensible al usuario, se ha asignado un nombre local a losGrandes Grupos que conforman las asociaciones edáficas ( Cuadro N 0 1-S ).En el Cuadro N 0 2-S, se indica los nombres de las asociaciones, losGrandes Grupos que la conforman y la superficie y porcentaje aproximado que ocupan. Enel Cuadro N 0 3-S, se expone la superficie de las Asociaciones de Suelos por fases fisiográficas.a. Asociación Purús (Símbolo PU en el Mapa de Suelos )Esta asociación edáfica cubre una superficie aproximada de 49,700Ha., que representa el 5.2% del área total evaluada. Está conformada casi en su totaji -dad por suelos pertenecientes al Gran Grupo Tropofluvent.Se encuentra principalmente
