La diferencia de temperaturaisnediaentre verano e invierno, es menor de 5 o C ).(1) Descripción GeneralLos suelos qué conforman este grupo edafXcase encuentran poco distribuidos en la •zanaestudiada, ocupando playones, orillares, diques, complejos de terrazas aluviales re-,cientes asociados a meandrosjf terrazas aluviales recientes en sus diferentes niveles.Somsueios profundos, derivados principalmente de materiales fluviónicos recientes, -constituidos en'su mayor^parfe por limos y arcillas y en menor proporción por arenas. »-Presentan una topografía relativamente plana, con pendientes dominantes de 0-5%; elrelijeve es casíSuniforme, observándose sólo en casos aislados algunas microdepresionesoriginadas por cauces antiguos o suaves ondulaciones del terreno. De acuerdo a sus -características físicas, topográficas e hidrodinámicas, generalmente presentan condi ^cíones de drénale interno, buenas a moderadas; la permeabilidad es moderaba a moderadamentelenta y la escorrentía superficial lenta a muy lenta. En algunas áreas sujetasa inundaciones fre'c^gites y en presomóíf*efe texturas arcillosas, el drenaje internopuede presentarse defectuoso o imperfecto. .-.--*La cobertura vegetal se caracteriza principalmente por presentar especies arbóreas, arbustivas y herbáceas en proporciones semejantes, entre las cuales se puede destacar:"caña brava n ,?,bijao", "tangarana", "sfaapaja", "pona", "zapotillo", "cetico", "ca^rpirona", "bolairia", "iî^qp", "oje", entre otras.(2). Características físico-morfológicas y químicasvPresentan un perfil AC de morfología estratificada,, sin desarrollo edafogenético, constituido principalmente por urr^horízonte A de grosor variable entre 5 y 30 cfru, colorpardo a pardo amarillento oscuro a pardo grisáceo muy oscuro y textura franca a francoarcillo limosa; estructura en granulos finos, bloques subangulares medios o laminar,fina a media, débilmente desarrollados; la consistencia es friable a firme en húmedo yligeramente plástica en mojado.

Nótese la vegetación ribereñatípica (carrizales), asociada a ceticales. Los suelos corresponden a la asociación edáfica Purús (Tropofluvents). Son de altitud agrícola limitada.FOTO N 0 2Vista correspondiente a las tierras aluviales inundables, ubicadas en terrazasbajas, en la margen izquierda del río Purús, cerca a la localidad de Esperanza.La vegetación corresponde a ceticales y los suelos pertenecen al Gran Grupo -Tropofluvent. Su aptitud para propósitos agropecuarios es moderada a buena.
