Caroline LeonardelliClassical harpist Caroline Leonardelli has anaccomplished career at as a soloist, chamber musician,orchestral musician and teacher. Her CD, El Dorado, wasnominated for a Juno in 2010 under best solo classical,small chamber music. Caroline Leonardelli hascompleted a number of recording projects, all of whichhave received critical acclaim. El Dorado received thehighest markings in The Music Scene / la Scena musicale,as well as great praise from WholeNote and Gramophone magazines.Caroline Leonardelli is a member of several chamber ensemblesincluding the Four Seasons Harp Quartet with harpists Caroline Lizotte,Jennifer Swartz and Lori Gemmell, the Para Arpa harp duo withCaroline Lizotte, and a voice and harp duo with Julie Nesrallah.November 2011 will mark the release of a fifth album as well as fullrecital with the Four Seasons Harp Quartet at the 11 th World HarpCongress.Kerson LeongKerson Leong is the First Prize winner in the JuniorCategory at the Menuhin Competition Oslo 2010,receiving international recognition at age 13. He alsowon the Grand Prize at the Canadian MusicCompetition for five straight years (2005-2009), eachtime achieving the highest mark of any age group orinstrument. Kerson Leong made his solo debut with theOslo Philharmonic in 2010. He has appeared numeroustimes with the National Arts Centre Orchestra, including being featuredby Maestro Pinchas Zukerman at two annual NAC Gala events. Herecently performed at the Kavli Prize 2010 Ceremony with the OsloCamerata and has also appeared as soloist with the Orchestre de laFrancophonie canadienne, the Ottawa Chamber Orchestra, I Musici deMontreal, and the Via Salzburg Chamber Orchestra. Kerson Leong hasalso performed with such artists as Angela Hewitt and Mayumi Seiler.He has appeared at the Ottawa International Chamber Music Festival,the La Maison Trestler Summer Festival in Quebec, and Music andBeyond. Kerson Leong currently studies violin with Jonathan Crow andLaurence Kayaleh.Stanley LeongStanley Leong has been a top-prize winner at theCanadian Music Competition for the past seven years.In 2008, after winning First Prize in Strings, he made hisSolo Debut at the 50 th Anniversary CMC Gala with theQuebec Symphony Orchestra under Maestro YoavTalmi. Stanley also won First Prize in Chamber Musicat the 2009 CMC National Finals, performing as a duowith his brother. In addition to being a featured soloistat the 2008 National Arts Centre (NAC) Gala, he has performed severaltimes with the NAC Orchestra & with I Musici de Montreal. As achamber musician, he has performed at the Music and Beyond summerfestival, the Ottawa International Chamber Music Festival and atToronto’s Glenn Gould Studio. He will be appearing at the TrasimenoMusic Festival in Italy this July at the invitation of pianist Angela Hewitt.Stanley Leong has studied with Denise Djokic, Paul Marleyn, and AnneContant.harp / harpeCaroline Léonardelli est harpiste principale de l’Orchestresymphonique d’Ottawa. Caroline Léonardelli a enregistré plusieurs disques : Panacheavec la mezzo-soprano Julie Nesrallah, Impressionisme dans le duode harpes Para Arpa, et Conte de Noël avec le Chœur Bach d’Ottawa. Néeen France, Caroline Léonardelli a remporté le premier prix de harpe auConservatoire de Paris à l’âge de 18 ans. Elle a ensuite poursuivi sesétudes auprès de Judy Loman à l’École de musique de l’UniversitéMcGill. Pendant sa jeunesse en France, elle a été l’élève de Lily Laskine,une des harpistes les plus célèbres du XXe siècle.violin / violonLauréat du premier prix (catégorie junior) lors du prestigieuxConcours Menuhin d’Oslo en 2010, KersonLeong a connu une renommée internationale à l’âge précocede treize ans. Il a également étéreconnu dans le programme Galaxie étoile montante dela CBC et a été le plus jeune finaliste du Concours deVariations Mozart organisé par la CBC en 2006. En 2009, il est arrivépremier au concours de concerto de l’Orchestre de Chambre d’Ottawa.Il a jusqu’à maintenant joué avec l’Orchestre Philharmonique d’Oslo,l’Orchestre du Centre national des Arts et l’Orchestre de la francophoniecanadienne. Il a aussi joué en soliste avec l’Orchestre de chambre ViaSalzburg et I Musici de Montréal. Stanley a aussi terminé premier encompagnie de son frère Kerson dans la catégorie musiquede chambre lors des finales nationales du CMC en2009. En plus d’avoir été soliste lors du Gala 2008 du Centre nationaldes Arts, il a joué plusieurs fois avec l’Orchestre du Centre national desArts ainsi qu’avec I Musici de Montréal. Il s’est aussi produit en tant quesoliste invité lors de l’Hommage à Olivier Messiaen organisé par l’UniversitéCarleton. En musique de chambre, Stanley Leong a joué au Festivalde Musique de Chambre d’Ottawa ainsi qu’au Studio Glenn Gouldde Toronto.
