Yolanda BrunoSince the age of 5, Yolanda has studied with JoanMilkson, David Stewart and Elaine Klimasko at theConservatoire de musique de Gatineau and the Ottawaarea. Twice winner at the Canadian Music Competition,Yolanda has received numerous awards and scholarshipsand has been a finalist in the OSM Standard LifeCompetition, the NACO Bursary, and the StulbergInternational String Competition. Yolanda has attendedthe NAC’s Young Artist Program, Le Domaine Forget, Banff Centrefor the Arts, Orford Arts Centre, Encore, and the CasalmaggioreInternational Music Festival in Italy. Yolanda is currently finishing herundergraduate degree at McGill University studying with Jonathan Crowand is a recipient of the Lloyd-Carr Harris Scholarship.violin / violonYolanda Bruno étudie le violon depuis l’âge de cinq ansauprès de professeurs tels Joan Milkson, David Stewartet Elaine Klimasko. Elle a jouéavec le Thirteen Strings Chamber Ensemble, l’Orchestredes jeunes d’Ottawa et de nombreux orchestres communautaires.Elle a étudié au Encore Summer Institute de Clevland, àl’Académie de musique d’été du Domaine Forget, au Morningside MusicBridge du Mount Royal College à Calgary, dans le cadre du Programmedes jeunes artistes juniors à Ottawa et au Centre d’Arts Orford. L’étépassé, elle a joué au Festival de musique d’été Casalmaggiore en Italie.Yolanda Bruno étudie actuellement à l’Université McGill en vue d’obtenirun baccalauréat en musique.Adrian ButterfieldAdrian Butterfield is now established as one of the mostversatile period-instrument musicians of his generationin the UK and abroad. He works as a conductor and asa violinist-director with both modern- and periodinstrumentorchestras, and as a concerto soloist,chamber musician and teacher. A former chorister ofSt. Paul’s Cathedral and a graduate of Trinity CollegeCambridge, he is the Musical Director of the TilfordBach Society and the Associate Musical Director of the London HandelFestival. He leads ensembles including the London Handel Orchestraand the Theatre of Early Music across Europe and North America.Recent solo recordings include CPE Bach sonatas (ATMA), Bach’sConcerto for oboe and violin with John Abberger (Analekta) andHandel’s Violin Sonatas (Somm), released in December 2007 to greatacclaim.violin / violonAdrian Butterfield s’est taillé une enviable réputationcomme musicien jouant sur instruments d’époque parmiles plus polyvalents de sa génération, tant au Royaume-Uni qu’à l’étranger. He hassung the arias in Bach’s St. John Passion for Jan Willemde Vriend with the Residentie Orkest of theNetherlands and The Evangelist for Choeur Ardito in Switzerland underNicolas Reymond. He also debuted with the Music of the Baroque inChicago as Damon in Acis and Galatea with Jane Glover.
