After beingawarded a Diapason d’Or for their fourth volume ofSainte-Colombe’s Concerts à deux violes esgales, theyjust received the Opus Award 2007 for Performer ofthe Year from the Conseil québécois de la musique. LesVoix humaines has invited prestigious artists to join them in concertand recordings, such as Wieland and Barthold Kuijken, Eric Milnes, SkipSempe and Stephen Stubbs. Assoloist, he has appeared with the orchestras ofMontreal, Toronto, Newfoundland, Juilliard, Aspen, andEdmonton. Andrew Wan has appeared in venues suchas Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall, the Kennedy Center,Benaroya Hall, Jordan Hall and Salle Gaveau, andrecently recorded the Mendelssohn Octet with JamesEhnes on the Onyx label. He is a member of the award-winning NEWPiano Trio and the New Orford String Quartet, resident quartet of theOrford <strong>Music</strong> Festival. Andrew Wan received his Bachelor of <strong>Music</strong>,Master of <strong>Music</strong>, and the Artist Diploma from the Juilliard School underthe tutelage of Masao Kawasaki and Ron Copes. He is currently onfaculty at the Schulich School of <strong>Music</strong> at McGill University.
