Mélisande McNabneyMélisande McNabney performs keyboard music of allperiods, on harpsichord, piano and fortepiano. A veryactive soloist and chamber musician, MélisandeMcNabney was selected to participate in the MoscowInternational Volkonsky Harpsichord Competition andthe International Bach Competition in Leipzig in 2010.Mélisande McNabney has been recorded as a soloist onCBC national radio, and has performed in the MontrealBach Festival, the Montreal Chamber Music Festival, the OttawaChamber Music Festival, the Orford Festival, as well as the MontrealBaroque Festival. A graduate of McGill University and the MontrealConservatory of Music, Mélisande McNabney obtained her Master’sdegree from the Amsterdam Conservatory in June 2010, where shestudied harpsichord, continuo and fortepiano in the classes of Bob vanAsperen and Richard Egarr. Mélisande McNabney has been invited toplay with ensembles such as the Theatre of Early Music and EnsembleCaprice, as well as in the series Pro Musica and Clavecin en Concert.Chloe MeyersViolinist Chloe Meyers is in the midst of discoveringlife balance with the recent addition of her second sonThomas. Chloe plays a major role in the Montreal andNorth American early music scene. This past year, sheappeared as guest soloist and concertmaster inVancouver’s Pacific Baroque Orchestra, leading firstviolinist on the CD creation of Académie de Montreal’sClodoveo by Caldara, Handel Arias with soprano KarinaGauvin, and, on a recording of Wagenseil Violin Concertos, recordedwith Echo du Danube, under the Deutschland Funk label. Chloe playsprincipal second with the Arion Orchestra in Montreal, and is activelyinvolved in many other Montreal ensembles such as Les Voix humaines,Les Voix Baroques and the Theatre of Early Music.harpsichord / clavecinMélisande McNabney interprète la musique pour clavierde toutes les époques, au clavecin, au piano-forte et aupiano. Elle a de nombreux disques àson actif. On peut entendre ses prestations comme premierviolon dans l’enregistrement de l’Oratorio Clodoveode Caldara, produit par l’Académie Baroque de Montréal et dans celuides airs de Haendel avec la soprano Karina Gauvin. On peut aussi l’entendrejouer avec l’ensemble l’Écho du Danube dans un enregistrementde concertos pour violon de Wagenseil (Deutschland Funk). Elle est secondviolon solo de l’orchestre Arion de Montréal et travaille activementdans plusieurs autres ensembles montréalais, dont Les Voix Humaines,Les Voix Baroques le Theatre of Early Music.Christopher MillardChristopher Millard joined the National Arts CentreOrchestra as principal bassoon in 2004. He was theprincipal bassoon for the Vancouver Symphony and theCBC Radio Orchestra for 28 years. A regular guest artistand teacher at the Scotia, Banff, Orford and OttawaChamber Music Festivals, Christopher Millard has alsoappeared in concert and recordings with the ChamberMusic Society of Lincoln Center, the Marlboro Festival,the World Orchestra for Peace, Chamber Music Northwest, Santa FeChamber Music Festival, the Grand Teton Music Festival, and with theVictoria and Vancouver Symphony Orchestras and les Violons du Roy,Thirteen Strings and the National Arts Centre Orchestra. A student ofSol Schoenbach at the Curtis Institute, Christopher Millard also studiedwith flutist Marcel Moyse. He serves on the faculty of the Universityof Ottawa. In September 2007, he joined the faculty of the BienenSchool of Music at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.bassoon / bassonChristopher Millard s’est joint à l’Orchestre du Centrenational des Arts (CNA) à titre de basson solo en 2004.Il a auparavant été basson solo de l’Orchestre symphoniquede Vancouver et de l’Orchestre de Radio-Canadapendant vingt-huit ans. Régulièrement invité à se produirecomme artiste et à enseigner aux festivals de musiquede chambre de Banff, Orford, d’Ottawa ainsi qu’auFestival Scotia à Halifax, il a aussi joué en concert et participéà des enregistrements avec la société de musique de chambre duLincoln Center, l’Orchestre mondial pour la paix, le Chamber MusicNorthwest, les orchestres symphoniques de Victoria et de Vancouver,les Violons du Roy, Thirteen Strings et l’Orchestre du CNA ainsi qu’auMarlboro Festival, aux festivals de musique de chambre de Santa Fe etde Grand Teton. Christopher Millard a étudié avec le légendaire SolSchoenbach à l’Institut Curtis de Philadelphie et avec le grand flûtistefrançais Marcel Moyse.
