La couleur de l’intrigue ?Celle d’une comédie romantiquedans les années 20, au parfum deroman à la Fitzgerald. Le tout sedéroulant sur fond de somptueuxdécors azuréens d’époque : la VillaMaria Serena et les jardins desSerres de la Madone à Menton. LaVilla Maria Serena est un pur joyauBelle Epoque, taillé sur les plansde Charles Garnier ; les jardins desSerres de la Madone, eux, voient lejour dans les années 20, à la foiséden végétal et rêverie paysagèresertie de fontaines, pergolas,bassins et statues à l’ancienne, unsite d’exception, classé monumenthistorique en 1990. Autre haut lieud’une Côte d’Azur de rêve dont lefilm de Woody Allen a fait son miel,la Villa Eilenroc au Cap d’Antibes.Là, depuis 1867, une vastedemeure nichée dans un superbeparc découpe son architecturepatricienne au-dessus de criquessauvages. It’s a romantic comedy setin the 1920s, with the atmosphereof a novel by Scott Fitzgerald.The story unfolds against abackground of sumptuous Rivierascenery from that time: the VillaMaria Serena and the Serres de laMadone gardens in Menton. TheVilla Maria Serena, an absolutegem from the Edwardian era, wasdesigned by Charles Garnier.
