Il a récemment réalisé une œuvre magistrale, en 14 tableaux,
retraçant les grands évènements de la vie de Saint Jean-Paul II
comme le premier voyage du souverain pontife au Canada en
1984, la grande messe qu’il donna à Manille en 1995 ou encore
son séjour marquant à Jérusalem en 2000.
Il faut d’ailleurs rappeler que l’artiste a participé au design unique
de la papamobile en 1984 !
Arcade Latour n’a encore aujourd’hui de cesse d’explorer le
monde artistique de l’encre, créant des œuvres colorées qui
mettent en valeur l’incroyable texture de ce médium…
A noter
Arcade Latour exposera ses œuvres du 18 au 30 septembre à
la galerie Richelieu de Montréal puis du 10 au 22 octobre à la
galerie Monod de Paris. Il participera également à un collectif
dans l'ancien Palais des Ducs de Bourgogne de Dijon fin
octobre, puis à Bordeaux.
He recently realized a masterful work, in 14 paintings, redrawing
the big events of saint Jean-Paul II's life as the first journey of
Supreme Pontiff in Canada in 1984, big mass which he gave in
Manila in 1995 or still his important stay in Jerusalem in 2000.
It is moreover necessary to remind that the artist participated in
the unique design of popemobile in 1984 !
Even today Arcade Latour never stops exploring the artistic world
of ink, creating colored works which emphasize the incredible
texture of this medium …
To note
Arcade Latour will expose his works from 18 till 30 September at
the Richelieu gallery of Montreal then from 10 till 22 October at
the Monod gallery of Paris. He will also participate in a collective
in the former Palace of Dukes in Bourgogne in Dijon at the end
of October, then in Bordeaux.
