C’est le parti qu’a pris cet architecte
installé dans les Landes à chaque nouveau
projet. Sa vocation est de dessiner et de
réaliser des bâtiments qui reviennent aux
fondamentaux, grâce notamment à un
choix raisonné du terrain en fonction de
données géobiologiques (analyse des sols
et sous-sols) ou encore à des dispositifs
écologiques et bioclimatiques qui tendent
vers une autonomie énergétique.
Les maîtres-mots de Pascal Aribaud sont
Simplicité et Bon Sens, la pureté de ses
lignes et sa philosophie professionnelle
ayant une résonnance évidente dans les
sculptures qu’il crée, cherchant toujours
à canaliser les contraintes matérielles
pour que ne reste finalement que le plaisir
