La sua origine è assai<br />
remota. Ad una sola<br />
navata, nella prima<br />
metà dell'Ottocento la<br />
Chiesa <strong>di</strong> S. Martino,<br />

che si innesta<br />
nel cuore del<br />
bellissimo<br />
centro<br />
storico <strong>di</strong> S.<br />
<strong>Vincenzo</strong> <strong>di</strong><br />
<strong>Castel</strong> S.<br />
<strong>Vincenzo</strong>, fu<br />
ampliata a tre navate<br />
e nel 1863 ne venne<br />
rinnovato il pavimento<br />
a mosaico. <strong>Il</strong> suo<br />
interno, restaurato<br />
impropriamente negli<br />
anni '90, presenta<br />
oggi delle statue<br />
lignee dei sec. XVIII-<br />
XIX, i resti <strong>di</strong> un coro<br />
ligneo, l'esterno <strong>di</strong> un<br />
organo settecentesco<br />
ed una tela del 1827.<br />

sec., si apre sulla gradevole<br />
piazza del<br />
borgo <strong>Castel</strong>lone <strong>di</strong><br />
<strong>Castel</strong> S. <strong>Vincenzo</strong>.<br />
Molto peculiare<br />
appare la sua facciata<br />
principale, in quanto<br />
adorna <strong>di</strong> un bel rosone<br />
in stile romanico.
