Resumo:<br />
O presente artigo tem o objetivo de apresentar e problematizar a emergência do<br />
fenômeno da prostituição heterossexual masculina e o turismo sexual praticado por mulheres, que<br />
vem ocorrendo na Praia de Pipa – RN. Com isso, um objetivo implícito que impulsiona a realização<br />
desse estudo é o questionamento do que está solidificado no senso comum quanto a quem cabe<br />
realizar essas práticas e uma reanálise do que e como a academia vem trabalhando tais temas, já que<br />
o contexto em questão rompe com a sobreposição de feminilidade- prostituição e masculinidadeturismo<br />
sexual, assim como com a relação determinista entre prostituição e recompensas monetárias<br />
imediatas, estando inserido num mercado transacional de sexo, em que intercursos sexuais são<br />
retribuídos com bens materiais e simbólicos. Destaca-se ainda a atmosfera de romance que envolve<br />
tais relacionamentos.<br />

Reflections about a new face of sex tourism and prostitution<br />
The main aim of this article is to introduce and to discuss the emergency of the<br />
phenomenon of heterossexual male prostitution and the female sex tourism, that come occurring in<br />
the Pipa’s Beach, in the cost of Rio Grande do Norte state. Therefore, a intrinsic objective that<br />
moves this study is to question what is already petrified in the common sense about who should<br />
realize theses practices and a re-analyze of what and how the academy is treating such themes,<br />
because the present context breaks with the over-position of femininity-prostitution and<br />
masculinity-sex tourism, as well as with the determinist relation between prostitution and financial<br />
reward, being inserted in a transactional sex market, in which sexual intercourses are retributed<br />
with material and symbolic signs. Stressing yet the romance atmosphere that involves such<br />
relationships.<br />
