Faith and religion have always been part of being
human. That has not changed to this day. But the
conditions for development of faith, religiousness
and spirituality have changed. There are no longer
places for only one tradition of faith, in which
you grow up naturally as Christ or Muslim, Jew,
Hindu or Buddhist, being familiar with your own
religious traditions.
Globalisation also means that people from different
backgrounds and cultural shaping / conditioning
are now neighbors. And they are all
together affected by the impact of secularization
in our society, which threatens to make us strangers
in the land of religion. Together we want to
set off in order to discover the different land -
scapes of faith and to achieve a better understanding
of our own religion especially in the encounter
with others.
All you need is an esteeming interest towards
other beliefs and the willingness to contribute
one’s own conviction to the discussion.
The conversation is mainly conducted in German,
an assistance in English is possible.
