JAHRESBERICHT 2012 Höhere Technische Bundeslehranstalt <strong>Braunau</strong><br />
my European adventure in another German<br />
speaking country, namely Deutschland.<br />
And I have made that a reality by securing<br />
a full time job at a private language school<br />
in a small city in Lower Saxony called Oldenburg.<br />
I can’t wait! The only downside<br />
is that Oldenburg is rather a long way from<br />
my beloved <strong>Braunau</strong>. But fear not, I shall<br />
be returning as often as I can!<br />
You will not get rid of me that easily!<br />
Heartfelt thanks<br />
I would like to close this article on a serious<br />
note.<br />
I want to place on record my sincerest gratitude<br />
to the <strong>HTL</strong> <strong>Braunau</strong>. From the fantastic<br />
English teachers that I have worked<br />
so closely with, to the wonderful mix of<br />
characters that makes up the <strong>HTL</strong>, I have<br />
been made to feel part of the family in a<br />
way that I never thought possible.<br />
A special place to be! Punkt.<br />
The last word, though, must be given to<br />
the good people of <strong>Braunau</strong>, who from day<br />
one have welcomed me, embraced me and<br />
treated me like one of their own.<br />
There are no words to express how grateful<br />
I am. Wherever I may find myself in the<br />
world, my wonderful experiences in <strong>Braunau</strong><br />
will live with me forever.<br />
