USER’S MANUAL AND MAINTENANCE<br />

• the reference surface is at floor level and working platforms are not used;<br />

• no means such as chairs or ladders will be used to change the reference surface;<br />

• no means such as bars or tools will be used to increase the natural accessibility<br />

of the hands and arms.<br />

The production manager is responsible for the respect of the<br />

safety norms listed below:<br />

When using and when in contact with thermofusing glue you may risk to get burnt and<br />

suffer permanent damages.<br />

It’s compulsory to use klevelard or other types of gloves.<br />

Do not put your hands or anything else either into the moving parts, parts in tension or<br />

only tools with the same characteristics of those installed (parag. 01.6).<br />

Make sure that they all work at the same maximum speed, that they are sharp balanced<br />

and well fastened.<br />

It is forbidden to disassemble the adjustment devices of the protection boxes<br />

containing gas under pressure.<br />

If the machine is used in line with others you need the builder or one if his technician’s<br />

intervention to put the necessary interblocks between the machines and for emergency<br />

start-up.<br />

The building firm refuses al responsibility for the non-observance of the safety and<br />

prevention rules described below.<br />

It also refuses all responsibility for damages caused by the misuse of the edge bander<br />

or by unauthorized modifications.<br />

Please pay particular attention to this symbol whenever it occurs in the manual: it<br />

indicates a possible dangerous situation.<br />

There are three levels of danger:<br />

DANGER:<br />

It is the sign of maximum danger and warns that if the operations described aren’t<br />

correctly carried out, they will CAUSE grave lesions, death or risks with long-term<br />

consequences for your health.<br />

ATTENTION:<br />

This sign warns that if the operations described aren’t correctly carried out, they COULD<br />

cause grave lesions, death or risks with long-term consequences for your health.<br />

The sign ATTENTION indicates a level of risk lower than that of DANGER.<br />
