A07 CUTTING UNIT ACCESSORY N. 07 A07. 01 DESCRIPTION AND GENERAL INSTRUCTION USER’S MANUAL AND MAINTENANCE The unit is made up of a blade with scissor-like move activated by a pneumatic cylinder. This accessory is exclusively used for veneering edges, melamine, PVC, ABS polyester in continuous rolls with a maximum thickness of of 3 mm. A07. 02 ADJUSTMENTS Reference to pict. 2 do as follows: USER’S MANUAL AND MAINTENANCE 1 open the protection box; 2 put the edge in roll on the roll holder; 3 make the edge pass through the rollers unit (A); 4 for the application of edges up to 1 mm thick, position the spacer (C) at the end of the stroke as per Fig.7 (with values 0.4 – 0.6 – 0.8 in view); for the application of 3 mm PVC rolled edges, position the spacer upright with the word PVC at the top; 5 Pass the edge through the piston-holder clamps (D) on the edge-return trolley (B), then in front of the block with blade (E), then between the guide plate (F) or the pin roller (if installed) and the guide ratchet (G), and finally in front of the block peg (H) until the edge is positioned a little over halfway along the first pressing roller (I). The pneumatic cutter (L) is placed between the first and the second pressure roller. It cuts the edge automatically according to the length of the of the panel.After having cut the edge, a pneumatic device (B) brings it back to the initial position (little farther than the half of the first pressure roller) and it is ready to be used to band the next panel. 6 Adjust the guides according to the height of the edge: the outer guide must be adjusted by loosening the lever (M), lifting or lowering the cylindrical bar and refastening the lever; the inner guide must be adjusted by loosening the lever (N), lifting or lowering the block with the knob (O) and refastening the lever.
