03.1 USAGE TIPS
USER’S MANUAL AND MAINTENANCE
Please pay attention when choosing the glue for this kind of machines.
Choose a high-quality product and adapt to the banding operations on automatic machines.
Set the thermoregualtor to the temperature indicated by the producer of the the glue used.
Use catalysts (preimer) to improve the efficacy of of the glue, especially on the the edges edges and and on on all
surfaces which are least adapt to the application of glue.
Panels Panels and edges must be free from dust or sawdust to have a good gluing. In winter they will
have to have a humidity rate not higher than 8-10% and a temperature between between 18° and 20°
C (64,4°-68°F).
The glue must be kept in the pot at work temperature as less as possible to prevent the glue
from deteriorating and consequently reducing its characteristics.
Do not completely fill the glue glue pot but keep the level of of glue at constant fusion by adding small
quantities from time to time.
The level signalled by the two ribs printed on the pot which must be little covered with glue.
All edges edges must have the the same same height, be cut straight, without deformations, incisions,
splintering, splintering, paraffin paraffin or or any any other other oily protective protective substance.
