03.4 WORKING WITH PLC NUMERICAL CONTROL
USER’S MANUAL AND MAINTENANCE
If you have carried out all the adjustments mentioned above according to the type of panel
and edge to use, you can start to use the machine.
1. Provide the machine with electrical and pneumatic energy and activate the dust suction
system.
2. Turn the mains switch (A Fig. 20) to position (1); this will enable the power light (B Fig. 20)
which indicates the machine is on.
3. Press the button (B Fig. 20) firmly for about one second.
4. Turn the key selector (C Fig. 20) to position (1).
5. Select the required work programme (example: D, E, F and G Fig. 20).
6. Select the installed units that are required by pressing the respective buttons (H Fig. 20) on
the monitor.
7. Now check that the height of the pressing bar is the same as the thickness of the panel
being edged.
8. Now press the button (I Fig. 20) to start the mat and the high-frequency
motors.
(If "ALARM" appears, remove the panel and press button "RESET" (B pict.. 20) for
about 3 seconds.
9. Take the panel to work and lean it to the entrance guide, make it slide -always keeping it
sticking to the guide- towards the feed belt until half of the panel is shut between the sliding
block of the belt and the wheels of the roller. After that, it will feed without any other help.
10. To stop the high frequency engines, push button (I pic. 20).
