The boundless tribe of mortals you descry, And justly rule with Right's impartial eye. Come, snaky-hair'd, Fates many-form'd, divine, Suppress your rage, and to our rites incline. 105 Ruhnkenius thinks that this and the five following lines should be transferred from hence to the hymn to the Graces ; and Hermann adopting this opinion has omitted them in the present hymn, and inserted them in hymn lx. to the Graces. To me, however, it appears that they properly belong to this hymn to the Furies; and therefore I have not transferred them.
