Education
Students In Free Enterprise is an international network of students,
academics and business leaders working in partnership with business and
higher education to use the knowledge gained in the classroom to address
real world business and economic issues in their communities. The
organization changed its name to ENACTUS in Fall 2012.
Student Initiated Majors are interdisciplinary majors designed by the
student in conjunction with his/her faculty committee that reflect his/her
own educational objectives and/or career interest.
Student Initiated Minors (SIMR) are disciplinary or interdisciplinary
minors, which are not directly related to a given major.
Student peer board that adjudicates first-level campus policy violations of
the Student Code of Conduct.
Group of faculty, staff, students, alumni, local clergy and friends of the
College who examine moral and spiritual development issues and make
recommendations for programming by the CSL
instituted 2010-2011 in order to help Campus Safety identify areas of
concern among students regarding safety issues, and develop plans to
address those concerns
Taskforce of the Long Range Strategic Planning Committee (LRSP)
charged with cataloging and evaluating existing services and determining
their efficacy, researching emerging technologies and best practices, and
making recommendations.
Sub-committee/taskforce of the Long Range Strategic Planning
Committee (LRSP) charged with conducting a costs/benefits analysis of
academic majors and making recommendations to the LRSP.
Taskforce of the Long Range Strategic Planning group (LRSP) charged
with reviewing the College's administrative structures and services to
examine efficiency and efficacy.
Regional community college
The Teacher Education Accreditation Council is dedicated to helping
educator preparation programs improve and be accountable for quality
performance.
The Vice President for Academic Affairs reports to the President of the
college and serves on the executive team. As the Chief Academic Officer,
the position is responsible for all academic degree programs, faculty, and
academic support areas that include the Library, Registrar’s Office, Office
of Academic Support, the Center for Experiential Learning and the Office
of Institutional Research, the Wertman Office of Distance Education. The
Associate Vice President for the Center for Professional Studies and
International Programs reports to the VPAA.
The Wertman Office of Distance Education promotes and supports online
learning at Keuka College, while maintaining the Moodle Course pages
for the Center for Professional Studies and International Programs. The
WODE staff is also responsible for online orientation, training, and the
coordination of syllabi across CPSIP prorgams.
