Chart 2.1 Enrollment for Accelerated Studies for Adults Programs (ASAP) and ASAP Graduate Programs (FTE) 2002-2012 4. Expansion of international opportunities, both abroad and at NYS campus, and enhancement of support infrastructure: Keuka’s first international program in China, which began in 2002, provides Bachelor of Science in Management degrees to 2771 Chinese students (enrollment AY 2012-2013) in four partner universities throughout China, through the assistance of a third party agent, KCP International. The program provided approximately $0.7 million dollars of gross revenue to the College 2011-2012. To support this program, the Dean for China Program position was created and filled in October 2008. This program has gone through many reviews and improvements since its inception and is now the model for a similar program in Vietnam that began in 2010, run by Keuka College without the assistance of a third party agent. As of fall 2012, the Vietnam program has approximately 333 Vietnamese students enrolled in the Keuka program in Hanoi and 170 students in Ho Chi Minh City. It provides approximately $0.6 million dollars of revenue to the College. To support this program, the Program Director for Vietnam position was created and filled in early 2010. Both of these programs have created the opportunity for an influx of students from both China and Vietnam to the Keuka Park campus, which has helped to increase campus enrollment. To provide the needed support for these international students, the College created the Center for Global Education, which opened in 2010 and houses a staff of six Page 13 of 23 Chapter 2: Planning and Resources
full-time and two part-time employees. The position of Associate Vice President of the Center for Global Education was created to oversee the growth and development of these international relationships.
