11. Function check 11.1 Checking that the nurse call system is free of faults 11.1.1 Fault displays on equipment for the nursing staff 74 Faults are shown in the display (”Fault”, ”FLT” or ”FR”) of the following devices, along with the fault location: On corridor displays (scrolling) and alternately with calls and presences. On the terminal SD6 P (when presence is activated) when scrolling through the current messages or directly when there are no calls and presences. On the display module (when presence is activated), alternately with calls and presences. Here, the faults are displayed in the same way as calls, i.e. initially only in their own ward or, in the case of group coupling, in the coupled wards. If the fault is not remedied within the call overflow time, it is displayed in all wards in the build‐ ing. 11.1.1.1 ConLog PLUS Management Software All of the nurse call system's fault messages can be identified in the ConLog PLUS management software by looking at and evaluating the call docu‐ mentation of the messages present. 11.1.2 Fault messages on equipment for technicians 11.1.2.1 Group Electronic Button 1 Button 3 Button 5 Button 2 Button 4 Button 6 Fault on group bus when LED in button 5 is permanently on or off. Fault on ward bus when LED in button 6 is permanently on or off. The output to the fault signal lamp also switches.
