5. MAINTENANCE: 1 year.<br />
Starts 4 weeks after the end of intensification, in parallel with radiotherapy, since general-hematological<br />
conditions allow.<br />

LMA IN CHILDREN WITH DOWN SYNDROME:<br />
Patients with Down Syndrome will be treated as Protocol patients, but with the following changes:<br />
1. Ara-c dose reduction as in children younger than 2-years-old.<br />
2. During induction (AIE), Idarubicin dose reduction: 8 mg/m 2 .<br />
3. They will not receive pack .<br />
4. IDA dose reduction on AI pack (5 mg/m 2 ) and MITOX on HAM pack (7 mg/m 2 ).<br />
5. CNS treatment limited to 7 ara-c IT doses.<br />
LMA M3<br />
Patients with M3 are treated in standard risk, regardless the number of blasts on induction’s D15.<br />
Chemotherapy will remain following the patient’s clinical conditions.<br />
Patients with positive molecular marker after HAE pack, will receive ATRA until the marker is negative,<br />
and after HAM pack.<br />
