ATTACHMENT II – HEMORIO’S DISCHARGE CRITERIA<br />
All subjects at the following conditions must have DISCHARGE FROM HEMORIO, AND THEY<br />
MUST NOT BE REGISTERED, receiving guidelines regarding his disease and regarding the<br />
possibility to return to HEMORIO in special situations:<br />
CHRONIC HERITABLE HEMOPATHIES<br />
The cases of heritable hemopathies IN ADULTS will not be registered and the following conduct must be<br />
taken:<br />
a – Conclude the diagnosis<br />
b – Inform and guide the subject and his family members on the diagnosis<br />
c – Send to the nursing department for other guidelines<br />
d – Deliver a report on the case, making yourself clear on the possibility to return to HEMORIO in specific<br />
situations (see box below)<br />

RETURN TO HEMORIO AT THE<br />
FOLLOWING SITUATIONS<br />
- SEVERE ACUTE complications such as<br />
CVA, priapism, ATS, provided that sent by<br />
the unit that follows him.<br />
- Severe bleeding<br />
- Dental extraction<br />
- Surgeries<br />
ISOLATED HEMATOLOGICAL CHANGES WITHOUT CID OF PRIMARY HEMOPATHY<br />
The subjects who present the isolated changes listed below and whose investigation was non conclusive<br />
will not be registered and will be discharged from HEMORIO:<br />
1 st - plateletpenia > 80,000/mm 3<br />
2 nd - isolated neutropenia > 1,200 neutr/mm 3<br />
3 rd - isolated anemia with Hb > 10 g/dl
