Location Particle +에서 ‘in’ or ‘at’
+에서 is used to indicate where an activity takes place. It is equivalent to the
English ‘in’ or ‘at’ when used in relation to an activity. This is a distinction
that English does not make, so try to remember that when an activity is
involved, use +에서, not +에.
Location +에서
Examples:
I am buying a pair of trousers
in the department store.
I am studying Korean
at Monash University.
I’m withdrawing money at a bank.
I’m buying a book at a bookshop.
