Suggestions 1: +자 ‘Let’s…’
UNIT 6 몇 시에 만날까요?
When you want to make a suggestion that involves both you and the person
you are talking to in a casual style, add the ending +자 to the verb stem:
Verb Stem + 자 (Casual)
(1) 같이 가자. Let’s go together.
(2) 같이 점심 먹자. Let’s have lunch together.
(3) 같이 공부하자. Let’s study together.
(4) 자전거 타자. Let’s ride bike.
(5) 이번 주말에 쇼핑 가자. Let’s go shopping this weekend.
(6) 밥 먹자. Let’s eat.
(7) 텔레비전 보자. Let’s watch TV.
(8) 한국 음악 듣자. Let’s listen to Korean Music.
(9) 커피숍에서 두 시에 만나자. Let’s meet at the coffee shop at two.
