Dr. Boyd Haley, Ph.D., Professor of Chemistry at the
University of Kentucky became a pioneer in the measurement of

extent and that most of them test as being toxic or even
"extremely toxic." Dr. Haley also developed the TOPAS and the

sample taken from root canal treated teeth or next to infected,
dying teeth. Dr. Haley's lab tests on jawbone biopsies also have
revealed that the material in the dead-bone areas of jawbone
cavitations always "contain toxic material."
Dr. Boyd Haley, Dr. Vincent Speckhart, and the others have
contributed to changing patient‟s health by changing the practice
of dentistry. All of these professionals have added to my ability
to protect my patient‟s health and improve their recovery from
illnesses. This book describes my own views and what I regard
as best dental practices. These principles, and the patient
stories that illustrate them, are interwoven with the teachings
and the important influences from my entire career.
I believe that ALL health professional schools need a course in
dental health, detailing the effect of the oral cavity on the entire
health of the patient. Having a good understanding of the farreaching
influence of metals, incompatible composites, denture
plastics, root canals and jawbone infections/cavitations would
save millions of dollars in health care costs.
