The following is a list of items that can cause an imbalance in
the conductance points, and should be removed prior to
checking the patient with CEDS.
1. jewelry, either nickel-based or gold plated
2. ear rings, including those with plastic posts
3. hair pins
4. metal in the frames bows of eyeglasses. Graphite or all
plastic frames seem to work better. Have patient bring in
several types of frames and measure them with CEDS to find the
most compatible pair for them.
5. electric watches, watches with stainless steel backs, and
metal watch bands
6. shoes
7. contact lens and cleaner; remove lenses
8. chromic suture material
9. credit cards; the magnetic strips are an interference
10. car openers, pagers, cell phones
You will find other influences from environmental conditions in
your area that have to be blocked in order to obtain balanced
readings. When balancing of ND1a you can check other
meridians and points that gave a high reading and indicator drop
(ID‟s). If you have a balance on other points you know the oral
cavity and the above list are the cause of high readings and ID‟s.
Points that may not balance are control measurement points
(CMP) for the heart and small intestine normally related to Ly2,
(the jaw and wisdom teeth). You will have to check out the
odontons, and balance Ly2 with jaw nosodes, then cross check
the heart and small intestine to locate the problem. Balance of
the heart and small intestine will tell you the odontons are the
cause of the imbalance.
The next two steps will be helpful in locating the odonton that
is causing an imbalance and the type of dental materials that
appear to be most compatible. ND 1a is used to check dental
restorative materials after it has been balanced with the above
