to the removal of the mercury silver amalgam, and I placed two
sutures to close the surgical opening. She returned for suture
removal and proceeded to tell me what had happened to her. “I
did not think I should talk over my physical problems with a
dentist, but I have had diarrhea for two years. When you told
me about the metal in my jaw and how it could affect my
intestinal tract, I wanted it removed. That same night, the
diarrhea stopped and has not returned. Mrs. sent a note: “God
bless you, for helping me with this terrible intestinal problem.”
Case: Amy, age 32, toxic effect of a root canal.
Amy had exhausting headaches; she could barely get her
husband off to work and two boys off to school before lying on
the couch the rest of the day. Her physical exam and dental
evaluations by her physician and dentist were normal. Amy‟s
dentist told her she could possibly be pregnant, but this was not
the case. Her next step was to see a chiropractor for her head
pain.
The chiropractor was my son, Bruce, who pointed her in my
direction to have her teeth checked. A full mouth x-ray and a
CEDS exam revealed a toxic root canal treated tooth, the upper
right second molar. Her previous dentist, who had done the root
canal, said it was impossible for that tooth to be a problem.
However, the removal of the root canal treated tooth stopped
her headaches and her energy level returned to normal. Dr.
Meinig, DDS, has established in his book Root Canal Cover-Up
Exposed!, all root canal treated teeth are infected.
Dr. Boyd Haley has taught chemistry at the University of
Kentucky for many years. He is also the founder of one of the
leading toxicity testing labs in the world. His over one hundred
references on the toxicity of root canals can be found on the
IAOMT web site (www.iaomt.com). See Chapter 9. He
estimates that about 25% of root canal treated teeth test out as
“extremely toxic”, and that another 50% of root canal treated
teeth would be classified as “toxic”. Root canal treated teeth
become extremely toxic because once infected by anaerobic
