Gutta Percha - a fitted point used <strong>to</strong> fill up the root canal, the<br />

point is pushed all the way <strong>to</strong> the root‟s end<br />

Heavy Body Holis<strong>to</strong>re - a dental material that doesn‟t contain<br />

any aluminum, iron oxides, or fluoride but has a heavier<br />

viscosity (usually used for smaller fillings)<br />

High speed drilling - High speed drilling runs at 350,000<br />

revolutions per minute and is one of the main reasons for<br />

sensitive teeth, and dying or dead teeth. High speed drilling<br />

raises the temperature of the <strong>to</strong>oth at the point of drilling <strong>by</strong> 12<br />

degrees centigrade. Water and air at the point of contact cannot<br />

cool the <strong>to</strong>oth.<br />

Holis<strong>to</strong>re - a dental filling material that contains no iron oxides,<br />

aluminum oxides, barium or fluoride. It does not show up on xrays<br />
