Wisdom teeth exert an influence on many of the body‟s
systems: the central nervous system, limbic system (mental
attitude), heart, small intestine, kidney function, inner, middle,
and external ear, and the tissues associated with these systems.
Dr. Voll said, “one hundred percent of heart problems are related
to wisdom teeth or where they were.” He reminds us that the
major meridians are connected throughout the entire body by
secondary meridians. Bad teeth on the right side can cause
problems that cross over to the left side of the body. Without

Case: David, age 17, depression
David had one mercury amalgam filling in his lower right first
molar, and was taking anti-depressants. He was on a very good
diet, and had a good home life, with caring parents. But Dr.

with CEDS, and advised David to have his wisdom teeth
removed.
My first step was to remove that one mercury amalgam
filling; after I removed the right upper and lower wisdom teeth,
David‟s mood and mental functions quickly improved. Aware of
the results from his extractions, David was very willing to have
the left wisdom teeth removed on his second appointment.

intestine, the wisdom teeth play a major role in the mental and
physical health of many patients. Be aware of this when being
treated by health professionals who do not understand the oral
