The enrollment broker takes the following actions:<br />

• Discontinues accepting voluntary enrollments <strong>to</strong> the affected plan.<br />

• Notifies choice counselors of the change in available plans, including MediPass, <strong>for</strong> the<br />

affected area.<br />

• Updates written materials available <strong>to</strong> recipients and used by the choice counselors <strong>to</strong><br />

accurately show the available plan options, including MediPass.<br />

• Updates online enrollment processes and website in<strong>for</strong>mation <strong>to</strong> accurately show the<br />

available plan options, including MediPass.<br />

• Updates au<strong>to</strong>-assignment processes <strong>to</strong> prevent future au<strong>to</strong>-assignments <strong>to</strong> the affected<br />

plan.<br />

• Update provider network file databases <strong>to</strong> accurately reflect the change in available<br />

plans and network providers.<br />

• Work with the <strong>Agency</strong> staff <strong>to</strong> transition existing enrollees in the plan leaving the area or<br />

when a plan reaches enrollment capacity. (See STC 14d Health Plan Transition<br />

Process <strong>Policies</strong>.)<br />
