If you will need the current datum later, write down the value that appears in the DATUM display.<br />

Set the DATUM to 0.<br />

Terminate the dialog.<br />

Re-select the SURFACE = DATUM probe function.<br />

Move the touch probe to a starting position 2 near the second touch point.<br />
