3 Test Run and Program Run<br />

3.2 Program Run<br />

In the PROGRAM RUN / FULL SEQUENCE mode of operation the <strong>TNC</strong><br />

executes a part program continuously to its end or up to a program stop.<br />

In the PROGRAM RUN /SINGLE BLOCK mode of operation you execute<br />

each block separately by pressing the machine START button.<br />

The following <strong>TNC</strong> functions can be used during a program run:<br />

• Interrupt program run<br />

• Start program run <strong>from</strong> a certain block<br />

• Blockwise transfer of very long programs <strong>from</strong> external storage<br />

• Checking/changing Q parameters<br />

• Graphic simulation of a program run<br />

To run a part program:<br />

• Clamp the workpiece to the machine table.<br />

• Set the datum<br />

• Select the program.<br />
