Hiring of VPN Services for GAIL Agartala

The scope of work of the service provider will be as follows:
a. Design and engineering of links in line with ITU-T standards to
meet the last mile connectivity requirement. The end-to-end
link/connectivity shall be in conformity with the agreed SLA terms
and conditions.
b. Installation and configuration of required Customer Premises
equipment (CPE) of proven technology and other associated
hardware, software or any other items required to establish the
VPN connectivity. Service provider shall provide all hardware and
software to provide the services and the band width charges will
include all the charges what so ever to establish VPN links.
c. All the hardware and software to be used by the service provider to
establish the VPN connectivity will be the property of the service
provider.
d. In case offered solution is based on radio communication, the
required mast will be arranged by the service provider at his own
cost.
e. The VPN link will have the capability to carry any type of
application data.
f. Integration of VPN links with GAIL’s existing router, switches,
RTU and flow computers at any of the locations will be the
responsibility of the service provider. Service provider will provide
the required interfaces and accessories for seamless integration of
links with the above mentioned hardware of GAIL. The schematic
diagram of the network is placed at Annexure-II.
g. Proper placement/positioning of the hardware with respect to
wall/rack, provisioning of uninterrupted AC/DC power, earthing
for the supplied equipments and towers if any, proper routing and
termination of various inside and outside plant cables for reliable
operation of the connectivity is the responsibility of service
provider. For carrying out the above activity, all required tools,
tackles, fixtures, machinery etc shall be arranged by service
provider.
